Georgia City Parks
- Centerville
The Rock Houses
The "Rock Houses" are Centerville's best kept secret. It's a series of
awesomely beautiful cascading waterfalls that have been a historic landmark for many years
and at one time was the site of an old mill. To visit this picturesque location, take
Centerville-Rosebud Rd. east of Highway 124 to Mink Livsey Rd. Turn right and go one mile
to Wynterset Lane. Turn right. Go to Wynterset Drive and turn left. At Lake Mist Lane,
turn right and park on the left side of the cul de sac along the wooded area. Take the
path next to the wood fence at the end of the cul de sac about 100 feet to the top of the
first falls. Cross the stone bridge at the top of the falls to the trail on the north side
of the falls to descend to the lower creek sections. Be VERY careful on the damp rocks -
very slippery! Also, keep an eye out for poison ivy along the paths.
