Situated on more than 45 acres on the northeast side of Duluth, Bunten Road Park provides
something for everyone. Offering soccer fields, baseball fields and football fields,
tennis courts, playground, bike and walk paths. The City also received outside funding for
other areas of the park development. The Georgia Department of Community Affairs,
Governor's Discretionary Fund and the Duluth Youth Baseball and Softball Association
(DYBSA) helped to fund the for the four baseball/softball fields; West Gwinnett Soccer
Association (WGSA) helped to fund the soccer fields, grassing and sprinkler system; and a
grant from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources helped to complete the paved trail
within the park consisting of 1.08 miles.
Children of all ages enjoy the playground in the spring and summer. The playground was
constructed through private funds raised by the Duluth Rotary Club, which allowed the City
to allocate funds on other park projects.
