Amenities: Tennis Center for the Rockdale County Parks and Recreation Department. Six lighted tennis courts, one mile nature trail, fitness trail, covered picnic pavilion with restrooms, one outdoor basketball court, two playgrounds, picnic tables and grills.
Hours: Open all year, 7 days per week, from 8:00am to 10:00pm


Johnson Park
Location: 1791 Ebenezer Road, Conyers, GA 30094

Size: 53 acres
Amenities: Four softball fields, concession stand, offices and meeting room, restroom facilities and storage, playground, gym/recreational complex, meeting rooms for programs, administrative offices, indoor pool, picnic areas.
Proposed: Jogging/walking trail, pavilion, gymnasium.
Hours: Office 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Recreation Center 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Also open when activities are scheduled and being conducted.

Black Shoals Park & Lake & Covered Bridge Nature Trail


Location: Black Shoals Road
Directions: I-20, exit 82 (Hwy 138) go North to Sigman Rd, turn left, follow Sigman Rd to Hwy 20 North, turn right, travel north 5.3 miles to Bethel Rd, turn right, travel about a mile, to Black Shoals Rd, turn left, Black Shoals Rd will dead-end into park

Amenities: boat ramp, fishing pier, boat storage, picnic pavillion
Hours: SUMMER: Thursday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
NOTE:All boats must be off the water no later than 8:30 p.m.
Gasoline motors are not allowed on the lake. Electric, sail, row or man-powered boats are the only vessels allowed.

Milstead Pool
Location: Main Street in Milstead
Size: 2.5 acres

Richardson Park
Location: Union Church Road near Georgia Highway 138 South

Amenities: Two lighted tennis courts, multi-practice field used for baseball, softball and soccer.

JP Carr Gym
Location: 986 Hardin Street
Size: 9 acres
Amenities: 1 gym, a multi-purpose field, and 2 outdoor basketball courts.
Hours: Used seven days a week for summer play days program, winter youth basketball, adult winter groups, Rockdale County Alternative School, and various other groups. Open only during programs.
