FOLK ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERIES
The High Museum branch at Georgia-Pacific Center in the downtown business district was
designed by Parker and Scogin Architects, Inc. and opened in February of 1986.
The branch's 4,500 square feet of gallery space were at first used to display the Museum's
permanent collection and traveling exhibitions of all kinds. In 1993, the facility was
rededicated as the High Museum of Art Folk Art and Photography Galleries.
The downtown galleries are opened Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.to 5 p.m., and admission
is free. For more information, call (404) 577-6940.
