Trails, Roadways:
Freedom Walk; urban interpretive trail to downtown area along Auburn Avenue.
Freedom Parkway; vehicle parkway with paved walking/biking path to Carter Presidential Center

Programs, Activities:
Birth Home Tours; park rangers conduct Tours daily. Register for a tour upon arriving on site at Fire Station Number 6 Museum. Reservations are not taken over the phone. Tours are limited to 15 people and are filled on a first-come first-served basis. Tours begin every hour on the hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the last tour t 5:00 p.m. During the summer tours will begin every half hour.

Parks AS Classrooms: An educational program for school children is offered throughout the school year.

Lodging and Camping Facilities: None in the national historic site. Lodging is available in Atlanta. Some camping is available in the metropolitan Atlanta area.

Food, Supplies: Restaurants and Convenience stores are within walking distance of the national historic site.

Other Concessions, NPS-Managed Visitor Facilities and Opportunities: The Eastern National Bookstore, operated by Eastern National, is located in the Fire Station No. 6 Museum. Over 200 tittles are available with special emphasis on African-American History.

Accessibility: Most exhibits and museums are fully accessible. Wheelchairs are available at the National Park Service Visitor Center and Fire Station No. 6 Museum. Parking spaces are available at eh national historic site parking lot. Some MARTA buses are lift equipped.
