Overview

Skidaway island park, is a great place for camping, hiking, fishing or swimming. The park offers hikers over 7 miles of trails through pine and oak coastal forest. Great vistas of the marsh areas. The trails take you through a historic trip to the days of moonshine. Along some of the trails you'll see rusty old historic stills.

The park offers a swimming pool and very nice campgrounds. On my trip to this beautiful place I saw many deer and raccoons. Some campsites are rather secluded, but most are close to one another.

Park Pass Information

A $2 daily or $25 annual parking fee is required.  The ParkPass is valid at all state parks visited that day, and Wednesdays are free days.   Annual ParkPasses are sold at park offices (senior discounts available) or by calling (404) 657-9851.
