CCC Camp Trail: Begins slightly north of the Rangers station and circles the historic CCC camp. On this trail you will find the old flagpole-raising platform that is still in existence. It is on a concrete slab in the shape of a star. In the center of the star is the hole where the flag was raised daily. Behind the star stand the remains of a huge fireplace and chimney where the main dining room and recreation room used to be. Surrounding the recreation room were several barrack buildings, which have fallen in disrepair. There is a foundation and chimney of which used to be the bathhouse. Also a laundry room was located close by. A few feet from the star is a small pond that used to contain Gold fish. Beside the pond stand the remains of a drinking fountain made from the native stone that were found in the park.
