Pablo and Lenny's Trip to Chimney Rock, NC and surrounding areas - January 2001

Lenny, Annie and I went to Chimney Rock North Carolina on a cool day in January. It was our first time there. Chimney Rock is a private park situated on a small mountain. The mountain has many beautiful rock formations and hiking up and around it was fun. Lenny got some great photos. Chimney Rock is only one of the rock formations in the park and of course it looks like a chimney. It's a great view from the top.

On the way back from Chimney Rock we decided to take the long way home through Highlands, North Carolina. Since the temperatures were below freezing we thought we should stop by a few waterfalls in the area to see if they were frozen.
